URL Encode / Decode
Percent encode text so it can travel safely inside a URL, or decode an encoded string back to readable text. Component mode encodes everything except unreserved characters, which is right for query values; full URL mode keeps URL structure characters intact.

Frequently asked questions
Component or full URL mode?
Use component mode for a single query parameter value. Use full URL mode when encoding a complete URL that already has structure.
Why did decode fail?
A stray percent sign that is not followed by two hex digits is invalid percent encoding, and the tool reports it instead of guessing.
