TOML to JSON

Convert TOML configuration into JSON for inspection and tooling. TOML dates and times have no JSON equivalent, so they become ISO 8601 strings and the tool tells you. Parse errors report the line and column from the TOML parser.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to TOML dates?

They become ISO strings such as 2026-01-15, because JSON has no date type.

Are duplicate keys caught?

Yes. TOML forbids defining a key twice and the parser reports it with a position.
