JSON-Utils

CSV to JSON

Convert CSV exports into a JSON array of objects. The parser handles quoted fields, commas inside quotes, and both Windows and Unix line endings. Type coercion turns numeric and boolean looking cells into real JSON numbers and booleans, and you can switch it off to keep every cell a string.

Frequently asked questions

What if headers repeat?

Repeated headers are suffixed _2, _3 and the tool warns you, so no column silently overwrites another.

Does it handle quoted commas?

Yes. The parser follows RFC 4180, including quoted fields with embedded commas, quotes, and newlines.
